  1. PM Modi spent a budget of nearly ?1,800 crore for the construction of the Ram Temple which is a three-story structure clad in pink sandstone and stretches across 2.9 hectares(7.2 acres) in a 28-hectare(70-acre) complex. 
  2. Also, the 1.3-meter(4.25-foot) idol of Lord Ram is located where the Hindus believe that Lord Rama was born at the exact site. 
  3. Under the government of PM Modi, the narrow roads are converted into a four-lane pilgrim route including the newly developed 13-kilometre (8-mile) Ram Path connected to the temple. 
  4. Concerning the passenger issues, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the redeveloped railway station and also unveiled the new airport so that passengers could easily travel to seek the blessings of Lord Rama.
  5. To improve the architecture of the temple, 42 doors out of 46 will have a layer of gold totalling around 100 kilograms that will form the final look of the temple.

Apart from this, PM Modi also appealed that every Indian should light a diya in their home to mark the temple’s inauguration on 22nd January 2024.

  5. Bhumi Pujan: A ritual to seek blessings from the earth and mark the beginning of construction on a positive note.
