Hon'ble Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann continues to fulfill the commitments made to the people of Punjab by successfully implementing the Mukhyamantri Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana. The scheme marks another significant milestone in the Punjab Government's efforts to strengthen women financially and ensure that welfare benefits reach deserving beneficiaries directly. Designed to promote economic independence and social security, the initiative reflects the government's focus on empowering women and improving their quality of life.

One of the key promises made during the elections was to provide financial support to women across the state. With the successful rollout of the Mukhyamantri Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana, that promise has now become a reality. Under the scheme, women belonging to the General Category are receiving financial assistance of ₹1,000 per month, while women from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category are receiving ₹1,500 per month. From July 1 onwards, eligible beneficiaries began receiving the amount directly in their bank accounts, with lakhs of women across Punjab receiving confirmation messages from their banks.

Women aged 18 years and above who meet the eligibility criteria can benefit from the scheme. This ensures that existing beneficiaries are not excluded and can continue receiving additional financial support to improve their standard of living.

To ensure the long-term sustainability of the scheme, the Punjab Government has made a budgetary provision of approximately ₹9,300 crore. This substantial allocation demonstrates the government's commitment to continuing the initiative in the years ahead and providing uninterrupted financial assistance to eligible women throughout the state.

The government has also kept the registration process open for eligible women who have not yet enrolled in the scheme. Authorities are encouraging all eligible beneficiaries to complete their registration so they can receive the financial support available under the Mukhyamantri Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana. By keeping registrations ongoing, the government aims to maximize coverage and ensure that no eligible woman is left behind.
